LAKE TAHOE, Nevada – A handful of Lake Tahoe’s most desired and magnificent multi-million dollar homes will open their doors for the exclusive Leading Estates of the World Tour Wednesday, June 23 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Considered the property event of the year, the eighth annual tour is hosted by Tahoe-based real estate agency Chase International.Giving an inside view into the value for living on the water’s edge, this invitation-only event will feature 16 of Lake Tahoe’s most exclusive homes, with 14 of those homes lakefronts. The price of homes on tour range from $2.295 million to as high as $29 million. The tour will also include a Chase luxury rental in the Tahoe Keys available for $1,200 a night, as well as a lakefront home on the West Shore for auction August 5.Chase International hosts the event in an effort to connect high-end properties with select brokers and top producing agents, architects, builders and special clients. This year 2,000 invitations are being sent to Reno, Sacramento, San Francisco and beyond. According to Shari Chase, founder and CEO of Chase International, this event is great exposure for clients selling their homes, often aiding in the sale of some of the estates featured on the tour. “The Estates Tour is a unique event for Chase as well as exclusive buyers because it gives a comprehensive glimpse into the range of homes and lifestyles to be found in Lake Tahoe,” said Chase. “The properties showcased illustrate the value placed on luxury living in one of the country’s most beautiful and desired locations.”Attendees of the tour will peruse the 16 homes at their leisure, with a map guiding them to the homes located around the lake including Incline Village, Glenbrook, Tahoe Keys, Meeks Bay to Tahoma, Carnelian Bay, and Sunnyside. Refreshments and lunch will be provided courtesy of Steve Peterson from Partners Mortgage and Kim Marcarelli from M&T Mortgage at two of the estates.Noted homes on the tour include the historic Fleischmann Estate, built in 1936, located in Uppaway Estates, near Glenbrook, Nevada. The 2.5-acre estate was built by shipbuilders for Major Max C. Fleischmann as a summer home. The elegantly restored home was the inspiration for Uppaway Estates and offers a pier, tennis court, solarium in addition to five bedrooms and six bathrooms.The $29 million Meeks Bay property encompasses 4.9 acres and over 500 feet of lakefront. Three homes (six-bedroom main house, guest cabin and caretaker’s cabin) currently sit on the cedar and pine forested grounds while a 7,500- square foot tennis court, 100-foot-long boathouse, 60-foot pier with two buoys and a private cove round out the upscale amenities. Crystal Waters in Incline Village is another prime property not to be missed on the tour. The 6,000-square foot, four-bedroom home boasts 350 feet of shoreline, expansive views, glass-enclosed deck and private pier with electric hoist and buoy.
