Chase International Agents All Pitch In to Give Back this Holiday Season

Lake Tahoe, Nev., (Dec. 5, 2008) – Chase International agents will be spreading holiday cheer in the coming weeks, as they take part in an array of local charity programs throughout the region. With eight offices in the Lake Tahoe and Reno area, Chase International will be reaching out to children, seniors and families in need.

Agents at the Incline Village office will assist with the local Toys for Tots as well as the Parasol Foundation's Holiday Senior Giving Program. Agents and staff throughout the office will act as "angels" to area Incline seniors, who have made individual requests for special holiday needs and necessities. In addition to granting wishes, Chase will also provide a meal for each senior, as well as supplemental gifts.

"There are a number of seniors in need in Incline Village and we're hoping to assist as many as possible," said Chase agent Sandi Solomonson, who is the liaison for the program.

The Incline Village Chase International office also assisted with the Boy Scouts of America "Scouting for Food" Drive in conjunction with Project MANA in early November. More than 1,600 pounds of food was collected.

Chase International's Tahoe City and Squaw Valley offices are also collecting food for Project MANA, a hunger-relief organization serving the north and west shores of Lake Tahoe, as well as Truckee. Project MANA serves an average of 300 meals a day.

"We tend to think of those less fortunate as being an issue that's urban and therefore far-removed from our lives, however we have a very real, growing need here at the lake," Donna Caravelli, of the Tahoe City office, said.

The Chase International Zephyr Cove and Glenbrook offices will again be adopting several families in need for the holiday season. Zephyr Cove agent, Pam Lusby, serves on the South Lake Tahoe Women's Center board and heads up the coordination of adopting families. Adoption of these families in need includes providing Christmas gifts, Christmas dinner and a tree. Over the past year, the South Lake Tahoe Women's Center has provided services to

2,167 local individuals who have experienced violence; one of every three clients that receive services is a child. Anna K. Richter, development director for the South Lake Tahoe Women's Center, anticipates that "the need will be greater this year than in recent past years due to the tighter economic climate."

Agents in the Reno office will be participating in the Evelyn Mount's Community Outreach of Reno-Sparks. Reno humanitarian Evelyn Mount provides holiday meals to needy families in Reno and Sparks. She also provides meals to the elderly year-round.

"Chase agents take part in community and charitable programs throughout the year," Shari Chase, president and founder of Chase International said. "The holidays are a time when we collectively come together achieving a bigger impact, helping to make a difference for our neighbors in need."

In addition to these holiday giving efforts, Chase International is a corporate sponsor for the Nevada Rock Art Foundation and the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival.

Headquartered in Lake Tahoe, Nevada since 1986, with eight offices in the region (Zephyr Cove, Glenbrook, Incline Village, Tahoe City, Squaw Valley, Truckee, South Lake Tahoe and Reno) and one in London, England, Chase International and its exclusive affiliations handle a large share of the country's property.
