Longtime Banking Executive and Top-Producing Sarasota Realtor To Manage Longboat Key South Office

SARASOTA, FLORIDA - (October 20, 2008)—Georgina Clamage has resumed her career at Michael Saunders & Company, where she will manage the firm’s Longboat Key South office, a position now held by Drayton Saunders. Saunders will assume new responsibilities in his role as the company’s executive vice-president. A twelve-year resident of Sarasota, Ms. Clamage first joined Michael Saunders & Company in 2000 as a sales associate in the company’s Main Street office. Prior to transitioning from a financial career into real estate, she resided with her family in St. Petersburg where she was involved in mergers and acquisitions for several banks in the Tampa Bay area including Barnett Bank of Southwest Florida; and was the controller and CFO for a software development company and a digital mapping company in Tampa. A graduate of the University of South Florida with a degree in accounting, Clamage is also a Certified Public Account.

She most recently has been on the board of directors for the Child Protection Center and has been a member of both the Junior League of Sarasota, Church of the Redeemer and the Downtown Partnership. A member of the Sarasota Association of Realtors, Clamage chairs the Realtor/Attorney Joint Committee, previously chaired the Community Outreach Committee; and is a member of the organization’s Grievance Committee. She is also a past recipient of the association’s “Humanitarian of the Year Award.” As a Realtor, she has earned the GRI, e-PRO and ABR designations. She was a top producer at Michael Saunders & Co. and has consistently been awarded the Five Star Best in Client Satisfaction by her customers.
