SEATTLE, WA USA – On Sunday, April 24th, members of the global Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate (LRE®) network began arriving in Laguna Niguel, CA to attend the 18th Annual Luxury Real Estate Spring Retreat. The distinguished event brought together top real estate professionals, industry leaders and speakers from around the world to connect, share and discuss the latest trends in the luxury real estate industry.
The event began with the exclusive Board of Regents reception and meeting, which opened with an evening welcome reception, hosted by Corcoran Global Living. The following day, Regents heard from expert panels, led by Board of Regents members, discussing inventory lows, never-ending new technology offerings, and managing expectations of clients and agents in the panel presentation, ‘Innovation to Bullet Proof Your Business’. Further to this, Regents also attended round table discussions, a networking lunch and a speech from Thomas Wright of Summit Sotheby’s International Realty about the creative ways to differentiate yourself and win listings. An additional reception was held that evening to welcome newly arrived guests and kick off formal programming.
This year’s featured speaker, Ryan Avery, Emmy Award-winning journalist, two-time best-selling author and world record holder, encouraged attendees to Go from A to THE® in their market, industry and in the minds and referral base of their clients. Ryan delivered game-changing, life-magnifying strategies by revealing a wealth of communication strategies top leaders use around the world to persuade, engage and retain top talent and customers, allowing audience members to step up to achieve next-level results.
Olivia Hsu Decker of Golden Gate Sotheby's International Realty was presented with the Luxury Real Estate Lifetime Achievement Award by virtue of her relentless hard work, many achievements and unwavering dedication to the industry. “Olivia is an icon and a true fixture in the international luxury real estate landscape; we are honored to grant her with this award” said Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate Chairman John Brian Losh.
Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate members enjoyed several sessions throughout the conference including ‘Top Agent Secrets of Success’ and ‘Pivoting in Times of Low Inventory’ among others. Additional targeted presentations led by Lori Lane of BHHS Georgia Properties covered ‘New Construction and Luxury Market Trends’ and ‘Level up Your Social Media’ presented by Mor Zucker, Team Denver Homes-RE/MAX Professionals.
Attendees also engaged in round table discussions, poolside networking, morning yoga, spa treatments, lawn games, golf, whale watching and more. The event culminated with a closing night dinner overlooking the resort’s beautiful ocean-side setting.
