CHICAGO, IL USA – Chicago real estate brokerage Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago collected close to 1,800 toys and more than $600 in online donations during their annual Toys For Tots drive that was held from October 18th through December 15th. During that time, 20 of the BHHS Chicago offices acted as drop off sites for the public. Agents and staff also reached out to their families, friends and clients to encourage them to donate toys. The result was a phenomenal collection for the Marine Corp Reserve sponsored Toys For Tots program. Each year, the Marines accept new, unwrapped toys for less fortunate children throughout Chicagoland.
Diane Glass, CEO of BHHS Chicago, said, “The mission of the Marine Toys For Tots Foundation sounds easy - collect new unwrapped toys and distribute them to Chicagoland’s less fortunate children to bring them the joy of Christmas and send them a message of hope. We thank the Marines for the important work they do on behalf of Chicagoland’s children, and we thank everyone who donated toys or made online donations to our Toys For Tots drive this year.”
