Windermere Homes & Estates Appoints Nancy Canfield as Executive Director of Community Relationships

1638401253SAN DIEGO, CA - Windermere Homes & Estates (WHE) is proud to announce the appointment and announcement of Nancy Canfield as Executive Director/Community Relationships, a new division established within the WHE brokerage. Nancy’s new role will include the planning and overseeing of all community outreach, events, and local contributions efforts.

Nancy authored a book, magazine articles, and stories for Chicken Soup for the Soul, and another Anthology, has been awarded the Five Star Realtor award 13 years in a row, inducted into the Rancho Bernardo (RB) Hall of Fame, chosen as honorary mayor of RB in 2005 and 2006, President of the RB Historical Society 2009-2018, and still sits on the board today.

Nancy CanfieldShe said she is most excited to bring visibility to local organizations and directly affect the communities WHE works in: Rancho Bernardo, Scripps Ranch, Escondido, Del Mar, Carlsbad, Temecula, and the Desert.

“There are many, many organizations that need help, that do not have the big team we do...we can spread their needs and Windermere Homes & Estates can be that team for them,” Nancy said.

“We are communities, we rely on each other, we need each other and help each other.”

Nancy has been with WHE since 2014 and in the real estate industry since 2003. She will now focus on nurturing relationships with all of WHE, external organizations, the media, and the local San Diego and Riverside county communities. She will also support marketing initiatives and act as a representative of the company at corporate and public events. Nancy will continue to work as a realtor supporting previous and future clients.

Rich Johnson, Founder, Owner, and President of WHE, said he is excited to see the effect this new division can have on its operations and within the Windermere Homes & Estates offices.

“The company has always been involved in doing good things in the communities we live, play and work in. Nancy’s strong leadership will give us better organization and focus and will result in us being able to do more for the good in our communities,” says Rich Johnson.

“We have to create solutions for needs that are not as obvious,” Nancy said. “My goal for this division is to be proactive and not reactive to those needs.”
