Entrepreneurs at heart, team leaders Christian Stubbs and Larry Bammer saw the unique value and growth opportunity in our Community Office structure, with the possibility of opening even more doors down the road beginning with a tight-knit, top-performing office.
“We love the family atmosphere and culture that First Team has, and the Community Office structure was the best option to benefit our entire team,” explains Bammer. “Nowhere else can we run two business simultaneously – one being our high-producing team, and two, our own office where we can bring on additional agents and create exponentially more growth opportunities.”
Both team leaders have deep roots at the company, making the move back home even more sweet. “My parents owned a small printing business as an exclusive partner of First Team, so I’ve known the company most of my life,” shares Christian. “I was introduced to Michele Harrington and I was so impressed by her career trajectory and growth. She’s the one who gave me the final push to pursue a career in real estate.”
Michele Harrington, previously the owner and operator of Star Estates, joined the First Team family in 2018 becoming our Broker of Record and Chief Operations Officer. Larry also began his real estate career with Michele, working part time as an agent while maintaining a law enforcement career for 21 years. “I had two careers for so many years. Then one day while working at the First Team Mission Viejo office, I met Christian and asked him for help. We immediately worked well together and before I knew it, we’d become partners. He sparked the idea of building a team and in August 2020, I finally decided to retire from the force and commit to our real estate business full-time.”
Beginning with a single assistant, the team quickly grew to 12 professionals within just six months, gaining like-minded team members who were hungry to learn and thrive within the industry. “We’re all about team culture when it comes to hiring on new agents – fit is everything. Once the world goes back to normal, we’re so excited to be able to work and play together again with happy hours, taco Tuesdays and more events with our growing team,” says Christian. “We’re not here to remain stagnant. When I first got into real estate, I set crazy goals for myself and I’ve already surpassed them by leaps and bounds. We’re laser focused on our long-term growth goals and hope to be opening a North Orange County office as well within the year. We’re looking for individuals who are ready to push themselves – and us – so that we can all grow together.”
