DSRE Sales Agent James Edmunds has Record Year

Dale Sorensen Real EstateINDIALANTIC, FL – James Edmunds, a multi-million-dollar producer with Dale Sorensen Real Estate Brevard (DSRE) had a record year in 2020, but with incredible opportunities moving into the new year, he believes 2021 will be even better.James Edmunds

Edmunds listed and sold nearly $10 million in real estate (more than $4.9 million listed and more than $4.8 million sold) in 2020, a fantastic feat in a year that was predicted to be underwhelming. Coming in to 2021, Edmunds has $2.4 million in listings throughout Brevard County and over $2.7 million under contract and just closed a property at $540,000.

Edmunds began his real estate career while working in another sales industry. But having grown up in the real estate industry, his mother was a broker in Washington, D.C. and his father a luxury homebuilder, he knew pretty quickly that this was going to be his full-time career. Now, just two years later, he’s working with developers on multi-million-dollar projects. Edmunds has educated himself with Brevard County’s zoning issues and requirements in order to better help his commercial clients.

Edmunds is a luxury market specialist in Brevard from the beaches in Cape Canaveral to Melbourne beach and downtown Melbourne. He currently represents a developer selling 2.21 acres of property on the waterfront in the heart of downtown Melbourne. “This property, currently under contract, is incredibly well priced at just $1.95 million,” Edmunds said. This is the perfect location for a commercial project such as a luxury townhome development or condominium. This is the same area that recently saw the development of multi-million-dollars’ worth of projects including the Hotel Melby, part of Hilton’s Tapestry collection, with 180 rooms and a rooftop restaurant venue.”

He’s also working with the world-renowned developer Carlos Massaro who is building European style townhomes in downtown Melbourne. He’s already built, and has listed with Edmunds, single family homes overlooking the water in downtown Melbourne. Edmunds also has the listing for a colonial style brick home on Rockledge Drive, one of the most highly desired waterfront communities in Brevard. This four-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath colonial style home is bursting with classic charm and is listed at $1.269 million.

Edmunds is convinced that his success so early on in his career is due to several reasons, including his focus on giving white-glove luxury service to his clients, the support of the DSRE staff and the fact that he believes marketing is not only valuable but necessary. He utilizes the vast marketing and advertising tools available through Dale Sorensen Real Estate (DSRE) to market his customers’ properties.
