CHICAGO, IL – The Lincoln Park office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago, in conjunction with the Kindness Foundation, stocked shelves, checked in groceries and assisted clients at the Lakeview Pantry during the firm’s annual company-wide Community Kindness event. Celebrating its 50th year, the Lakeview Pantry has been feeding hope since 1970. The Pantry’s mission is to eliminate hunger and poverty in communities by providing food to fill the basic needs of hungry people, empowering their clients to achieve independence through social service programming and to raise awareness of hunger and poverty.
