FirstTeam Makes Homeownership More Affordable for Heroes with One Quarter Percent Interest Rate Reduction, Free

FirstTeam Real EstateIRVINE, CA – Since 1976, First Team Real Estate has been serving Southern California residents with more than just real estate services. In addition to assisting local homeowners, FirstTeam founder and CEO Cameron Merage and his family have a long history of investing back into the local community, donating to academic, humanitarian and cultural causes. Now, First Team Real Estate and its Family of Companies are turning their services – and a great deal of savings – to first responders, medical providers, frontline and other essential workers with an offer to buy down mortgage rates on their home purchase by one quarter percent, for free, by discounting essential real estate services.New Helping Community Heroes program to help First Responders and other essential workers save tens of thousands of dollars when buying and selling a home.

“As our way of saying ‘thank you’ to the heroes within our communities who have selflessly dedicated their lives to ensuring the safety of others, we are extending our FirstTeam Family of Companies discount to these heroes, just like the military heroes we’ve served through our successful Military on the Move program, saving them thousands of dollars,” explains Cameron Merage.

Military on the Move is a program offered by participating brokerages of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® who want to give back to veterans by offering a rebate or credit on a home sale or purchase to eligible service members. Since 2017, FirstTeam has been recognized as the number one contributor to this program, helping more military households achieve substantial savings through the purchase and sale of their homes than any other brokerage in the company’s network, totaling hundreds of thousands in home values.

Inspired by Military on the Move, Helping Community Heroes takes the Family of Companies discount one step further by involving the company’s mortgage arm to ensure even deeper savings with the company paying for a one quarter percent interest rate reduction on the popular 30-year mortgage on behalf of the hero’s household.

“By utilizing our entire FirstTeam Family of Companies to handle every necessary aspect of the real estate transaction, we are able to pass on all possible savings to our heroes to make housing more affordable – and the entire process simpler,” explains Cameron Merage. “It is an honor to serve our community, and Helping Community Heroes is our commitment to doing everything we can for those who have sacrificed their safety in our time of need.”
