POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ – Diane Turton, Realtors, a leading-edge New Jersey based real estate firm, is hosting a book-signing event with real estate powerhouse Diane Turton, author of the new book, “Always Connecting: How I Built My Business and Navigated the Signs to Success.” The book signing will be held on Thursday, December 5th from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Diane Turton, Realtors Wall Office location at 2383 Route 34 in Wall, New Jersey.
In her book, released on November 7th, Diane Turton opens up about her life, her real estate business, how she’s built her personal and professional relationships and the secret to a lifetime of success. She candidly describes her journey from a kid who was too overwhelmed to deliver a book report in front of her second-grade class to becoming a nationally known speaker on entrepreneurship and President/Founder of one of the top real estate brokerages in New Jersey.
“I have been thinking about writing this book for quite a long time. I had put the idea on the back burner until one day a colleague asked me when I was going to share my life’s journey and the signs that lead me to make the decisions I did," said Diane Turton, President/Founder, Diane Turton, Realtors. “Being blessed with the power of multi-tasking and not afraid to leave my comfort zone, I decided that day to share my story.”
The book explores her life’s highs and lows, up close and personal. It’s an adventure she’s shared in bits and pieces over the years. Now it’s available all in one place, for all to enjoy! At the event, the author will be signing books that will be available for purchase, as well as a Q & A. Admission is free.
About Diane Turton
It’s been a tumultuous journey for Diane Turton, who navigated a tough childhood marked by her parents’ bitter divorce and her dad’s early and tragic death by suicide. As the oldest of seven kids, she grew up painfully shy, overweight, and relentlessly bullied—until her dad enlisted her to help with his business transactions and taught her to negotiate.
At the end of her college years, Turton had bargained with car dealers, store owners, policemen, and clients selling their homes. She was the only woman in her real estate business classes in college, earned her real estate license at age 19 and launched her career after graduation without a dime to her name.
Diane went from standing-room-only Tupperware parties to one of the top sellers of real estate in New Jersey, from appearing on NBC’s “Today Show” as the guest weather girl to sharing stages around the country with motivational speakers Zig Ziglar and Tom Hopkins in front of thousands of people. Diane faced open hostility and even sabotage as a female entrepreneur, inspiring her to fight the gender issue by deploying some pretty innovative ideas about selling, branding and service. The kid who was too overwhelmed to deliver a book report in front of her second-grade class became a nationally known speaker on entrepreneurship, business and values-based leadership. It’s a story she’s shared in bits and pieces over the years.
She got a "sign" and decided to put it all in a book!
