BIRMINGHAM, AL - One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. Thirty years ago only one in five women diagnosed would survive. Today through research, heavily done at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, four out of five women diagnosed will survived.
During the month of October, Blue Goes Pink at ARC Realty! It is our desire to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. ARC will donate $25 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama (BCRFA) for every new listing the company brings in during the month.
We are striving to engage the community during this campaign through fundraising events, individuals telling their stories and education on the importance of early detection. In addition to raising funds for breast cancer research, ARC is brining awareness to the disease by changing our yard sign riders to and balloons to pink and sharing educational content on social media.
