MIDDLETOWN, RI - Monday Morning Jeff Brooks, a Realtor with Hogan Associates in Middletown, attended Maria Tavarozzi's Personal Finance Class to discuss the value of Home Ownership and the career paths available in Real Estate. The classes are intended to teach High School students fundamental financial literacy before heading out to the real world.
Jeff spoke at length about different financing programs, the benefits of owning vs renting and how to qualify for a mortgage. "Real Estate is the largest driver of wealth in America due to your ability to leverage your asset. I'm glad I was able to show the students how they can too own a home and plan towards their future." Mrs. Tavarozzi's class has discussed the benefits of owning vs renting, credit scores, budgeting and saving for retirement.
