We are no longer experiencing the frenzy that defined the first half of the year and it seems that prices and inventory levels may be starting to level out. The California Association of Realtors released a report forecasting that home sales will rise 3.2% in 2014 as "price gains moderate and the inventory crunch loosens" (LA Times).
