If I Had All the Money in the World-Horse Property

Part of my weekly routine is to go to as many open houses as possible. This practice keeps me on top what is current in the Park City real estate market, helps me assess my listings competition and prepares me for my buyers in the market for something special. Open House tour days are packed with multiple homes to see in a short time period. Walk in, put on the booties, sign in, say hello to the hosting agent and cruise through the home. (Maybe eat a cookie or two, if they are really worth it). My tip here is: Don’t dally or you won’t make it to all the open houses before the 3pm cut off time.


Rarely do I have the chance to linger or let myself linger. Until last Thursday when I walked into a home that simply blew me away! I just stood there, taking it all in. Wow. The warmth, grandeur, soul, views… Need I go on? Well, I will go on.

This masterfully crafted home sat on a 4+ acre flat lot with majestic, sweeping views of the Wasatch Mountains. Overlooking the horse pasture, pond and water feature. The fireplace is floor to ceiling stunning stone with trusses that made me week in the knees. I didn’t want to leave the room, but I had to see what was around the bend. Past the kitchen, make your way to the private apartment that not only would I live in myself, but would have no issue placing my most fussy guests there to get them out of my hair. They would have everything they need in their own private space.

The lower level, still bright and sunny with fab views, hosts plentiful bedrooms for all the kids and extra guests, along with another family gathering space, theatre room and bar…This home does not quit.

Then there is the barn, where you could practically eat off the floor. Four stalls, workshop andplentiful toy storage. Open the barn door on the west end and BAM, you are hit with the sensational Park City views all over again.


If you are in the market for an exquisite horse property, or just want some land for breathing room, look no further, this is the spot. “But I need more land to ride my horses”. Not in Silver Creek you don’t. There are trails throughout the whole community that take you into backwoods areas for tranquil trail rides. A riding buddy is always nearby too.
