Emirates Hills is the Home of Exclusivity in Dubai
April 15, 2018
The city of Dubai is perhaps best known for its record-breaking architectural feats. It is home to the Tallest Building in the World, the Largest Indoor Ski Slope, and the Largest Racecourse, among other grandiose projects. There is more to this cosmopolitan urban hub than just that. It has, in the past few years, altered its image to rebrand itself as a prime family destination, courtesy of very exclusive and well-designed neighborhoods, and topping that list is the magnificent Emirates Hills.
Modeling itself as the ‘Beverly Hills’ of Dubai, Emirates Hills is a premium gated community comprising villas that range from a stately four bedrooms to a sprawling ten, each sitting on massive plots with square footage in the five figures. It was Dubai’s first freehold residential community, which consequently attracted some of the top names in the city, along with many international celebrities, as its residents. Actors, star athletes and even former politicians have a home here.
Emirates Hills is a lavish neighborhood of rolling green fields and wooded driveways, with many of its home being designed from the ground up by the residents themselves, giving each a distinct look. Typical features of a villa in Emirates Hills include a garden, backyard infinity pool and a basement that doubles as a recreation room. The master bedroom in each home is usually designed to be a small house in itself, opening out to a wide balcony and some of the city’s best views.
With two of the most expensive homes sold in the third quarter of last year, at a staggering $25.9 million and $16.3 million respectively, it has only cemented its reputation as the ultimate residence in Dubai, regardless of any economical ups and downs.
And all of that without any mention of the golf courses yet.
Emirates Hills isn’t just an amazing residential community, it’s an amazing golf estate, surrounded by two championship golf clubs. The Address Montgomerie, which features an 18-hole course designed by Colin Montgomerie and renowned golf course designer Desmond Muirhead, is the main course at Emirates Hills. Located just next door is the Emirates Golf Club, home to a course designed by Nick Faldo and the Majlis Course, which is famous for hosting the Omega Dubai Desert Classic and Omega Ladies Classic, and is ranked among the top 100 courses in the world. They are two of Dubai’s top golfing destinations, and complement their green fairways and challenging courses with outstanding hospitality services, world-class golf academies and an array of fantastic dining options.
Emirates Hills is truly a haven for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of Dubai’s commercial centres, but still want to remain connected to the city. It is a very premium neighborhood, offering complete privacy and security for its residents and keeping them within easy reach of every modern convenience. It is just a short drive from the main commercial districts and three exceptional shopping malls. Other key features are its proximity to some of Dubai’s top-rated international schools in Dubai and prime healthcare options. Emirates Hills really is the home of exclusivity in Dubai.
