Luxury real estate company, Carlton International, presents its first exclusive Villa-Hotel Villa Guide in Cap d’Antibes.

Villa Guide is an historic manor located upon the peninsula of Cap d’Antibes between the glamorous French Riviera resorts of Cannes and Nice. The 17th century villa was passed down the generations of a local French family and has been lovingly maintained to the traditions of the charming Provençal region. More recently, the villa has been carefully renovated to blend its classic French real estate heritage with modern luxury living.

More recently still, Villa Guide was host to an exclusive art exhibition in association with Carlton International, on the evening of Saturday 6th December. Galerie Oscar exhibited the works of contemporary artists during the private cocktail event to 180 members of luxury press and real estate communities.

The 10 bedroom villa offers guests a luxury holiday home rental with five-star hotel services and 24/7 concierge services. The 760 m 2 manor and its nearly half an acre of private landscaped gardens was a fine setting for the Galerie Oscar art exhibition.

The exhibition itself took place on the first floor. Entering via a rotunda entrance hall, guests were welcomed to the event by managing director of Carlton International, Philip Weiser. “I would like to thank all of you for coming to the exclusive opening of the luxurious Villa Guide” he said before declaring that Carlton International would be opening its next office in St Paul de Vence in 2015. Philip also mentioned that the ‘Hotel Investment Services’ has grown since the beginning of 2014. Carlton International now has a portfolio of hotel investments from 200 local businesses.

Besides the exhibition, guests were also taken on a guided tour of Villa Guide itself, including the property’s two other levels, from a family suite at garden level to the presidential suite on the second floor.  Guests were invited to reassemble at the double reception room and dining room on the main level for champagne and canapés. These host salons were decorated with mosaics and a grand mural painting by Jean Louis Dupré, better known as Loulou Picasso.
