Carolina Horse Park at Five Points
Carolina Horse Park provides premier international and national equestrian events building on the Carolinas' rich and longstanding equine industry. In turn, Carolina Horse Park strives to preserve the region's open

Malcolm Blue Farm
Taking a tour of this 1825 farmhouse and museum provides insight into the lives of early pioneers in the Sandhills. The house is filled with authentic furnishings of everyday life during the 1800s. Visitors get a
first-hand feel for what life in the 1800s was about by touring the farmstead.
National Railroad Museum & Hall of Fame
The National Railroad Museum and Hall of Fame was opened in 1976. The depot was built in 1900 and was the home of the North Carolina Division of SAL. A prime example of Victorian architecture, it is one of the
most photographed stations in the eastern United States and is representative of the structures of that era.
Shaw House
The Historic Shaw House is located on its original foundation at the crossing of the famed Revolutionary Pee Dee and Morganton Roads at the southern entrance to Southern Pines. The Shaw House is typical of
the antebellum houses which followed the cabins of the early Sandhills settlers. It is less elaborate than the seacoast plantations and has the charm and sturdy simplicity which was characteristic of the Scottish
families who settled in this region.

Pinehurst Resorts
The stories of champions and the traditions of championship golf have been created at Pinehurst since 1898. As the site of more championships than any other golf course in the country, it is no surprise the

Pottery Country & Jugtown/Seagrove
The Seagrove Area Potters Association promotes and markets the historical, geographical pottery community that works and resides in a corner of Randolph, Moore and Montgomery counties. This small area in
central North Carolina has been home to many potters for somewhere between 200 and 300 hundred years.
