The Team

Marc Sinanian
is a business and marketing graduate from Marseilles, France who has been the top producing associate at with Coldwell Banker for the past 3 years. He was awarded the number one sales associate for all of Mexico in both 1999 and 2000, and is a member of the International Sterling Society, a recognition awarded to the top sales associates at Coldwell Banker worldwide. Over the past 3 years he has been directly involved with several high profile land development projects from planning to completion.

Alexis Burwell
is an international relations and foreign investments graduate who has been actively involved in the real estate industry in Puerto Vallarta and the shores of Nayarit for the past 7 years. He is also a member of the International Sterling Society. His experiences in this market include the promotion and sales of various properties in Puerto Vallarta and the Bay of Banderas, as well as the direct involvement in several luxury resort developments such as El Banco Estate and Punta Vista in Punta de Mita.

Catherine Martin
Born in London in 1974, Catherine Martin graduated from King´s College London in 1996 with a joint honours degree in Modern Languages (French / Spanish) which involved a year spent studying at the universities of Montpellier and Guadalajara. Upon leaving university she went to work in the global financial markets at Salomon Brothers then Deutsche Bank, where she worked first on the FX sales desk
from where she waas chosen to form part of the new eBusiness sales force to set up and market the bank´s online trading systems to its top global clients.

Upon moving to Mexico in the year 2000, Catherine began working with Marc and Alexis, initially at Coldwell Banker, then as one of the founding members of La Punta Realty. In addition to her sales role, Catherine is personally responsble for promoting and marketing the company´s products to other real estate agencies. Catherine is a qualified translator authorised by the state of Jalisco and occasionally works as a freelance writer on Mexican news stories for London newspapers.

Cristina Campero
Her business experience comes from having self-owned business in the advertising industry, some of which she still maintains an interest in with her family. When she decided to initiate a career on Real Estate 3 years ago, she became part of the La Punta Realty team. She has lived in Puerto Vallarta for the last seven years after studying business and marketing in Canada, where she became proficient in English. She originally studied architecture and feels that real estate gives her the opportunity to blend all the different skills she has developed in her life. Together with her understanding of the local culture and her natural ability to interact with people, in addition to her charisma, friendliness and caring personality, she offers professional assistance in purchasing real estate in Puerto Vallarta and Bahia de Banderas.

Theron Shamgochian
Born in Fresno California and graduated California State University, Stanislaus with a Bachelof of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance. Business Experience includes development of farm lands including almonds, grpes and cherries, processing famr commodities and marketing same throughout the workd to industrial trade such as Hershey, Mars and General Foods under his own marketing brand. He has also developed and marketed subdivisions in the central valley of California and is currently developing a senior citizen mobile home park. He has owned property in Vallarta since 1986 and entered into development and real estate activity 4 years ago.


Yumiko Takinami-Dilday
Yumiko is a Japanese citizen who spent 10 years of her adolescent life in South East Asia (Singapore and Malaysia), followed by 9 years in the US. While in the US, she became proficient in English, received a BS in Marketing and International Business, and began her career with Rubicon International, an international consulting firm, and NetXposure, a software company, based in Portland, OR. She has recently decided to live in Mexico, after a year of traveling through Central America, as she realized the great opportunities and the quality of lifestyle she can lead in this area. She is a strong believer in the exciting future of real estate in the Bay of Banderas, and her perspective of the area combined with her tranquil personality make her well suited to be your reliable guide through your real estate process. She believes that dreams exist to be pursued. “If you have a dream to live or own a property in Mexico, I am here to facilitate you in making your dream come true!” Yumiko divides her time between the two offices of La Punta Realty.

Carmen Hernandez
Carmen was born here in the Bay of Banderas, and she qualified in Hotel and Catering Studies. She began her career in 1985 as a receptionist and since then has been employed in various positions, rising to Administrative Assistant. Carmen has taken part in several secretarial and administration training courses and is fluent in English. She handles the administrative side of La Punta Realty.
