Good Day,

I am introducing myself; I am Raphael T. Harris, Jr. I am an American who has married and has lived in Messina, Italy since December 2001. I have not been back to America. I have a wife from Messina and two children born here in Messina. Messina is a small town on the point of the island of Sicily, locked between the mountains and the sea. The Straight of Messina separates Sicily and my town, from mainland Italy.

I started a real estate business here in Italy, 6-1/2 years ago. World Real Estate Immobiliare, (www.worldrealestate.it). I was working before this time, with a different company here in the town of Messina, to learn the local ways of the real estate business. I have a family of real estate in Atlanta, Georgia, with my parents and aunts and cousins and grandparents. I have a real estate license in both America and Italy. I also have degree from The Ohio State University in Financial Management. I have been a member of Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate since 2005.

I am now here in Southern Italy working in a very exclusive real estate market. I closed a property in Capri – 14, November 2008 - 26,000 euro a square meter or 3700 US dollars a square foot. I have a few properties, listed now, between, Capri - Amalfi Coast ( Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, Ravello) - Taormina - Aeolian Islands - and also local real estate that my wife and other family members here in Messina, look after.

Understand, I am VERY – VERY – situated here in Sicily. I have diverse tourist development projects throughout the island. I know the locals very well – I know the building costs and I know the last part of Western Europe Tourism, to develop, is Sicily. I also have several options in the more “WORLD STABLE REAL ESTATE MARKETS”, like Capri and the Amalfi Coast.
