4/4/2008 - LuxuryRealEstate.com Named No. 1 Luxury Network by Ultimate Homes Magazine

By Robert Lockard   E-mail author SEATTLE – (April 4, 2008) – In a show of strength, Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate (LuxuryRealEstate.com) dominated Ultimate Homes magazine’s list of luxury-broker networks with the largest number of the most-expensive homes in the world represented by the members of its network. LuxuryRealEstate.com has more than twice the number of luxury properties on the list as the closest peer.

“LuxuryRealEstate.com is consistently expanding into new territories around the world, and this list reflects our efforts,” said John Brian Losh, CEO/publisher of LuxuryRealEstate.com, and CEO, chairman and broker of Ewing & Clark, Inc., Seattle’s oldest real-estate brokerage.

Ultimate Homes is published once a year by Unique Homes, another industry-leading publication. They began compiling a list of the most-expensive residential properties on the market in 2005 with a total of 850. Starting in 2006, their list has included 1,000 properties.

This year, the LuxuryRealEstate.com network includes 420 of the properties on the Ultimate Homes list. In 2007, LuxuryRealEstate.com had 112 properties, representing a 375-percent year-to-year increase.

In addition, six of the top 12 brokerages representing the most-expensive properties are members of LuxuryRealEstate.com. Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate, Brown Harris Stevens, Premier Estate Properties, Inc., Slifer Smith & Frampton, Alain Pinel Realtors and Frank Hardy, Inc. Realtors were included on this list.
