Glacier National Park

Glacier National Park is one of the United States ‘quieter’ parks, offering pristine forests, rugged mountains and several lakes without the crowds often experienced at other national parks. A hiker’s paradise full of historic chalets and lodges and plenty of wildlife.

Flathead Lake

Flathead Lake is 28 miles long and up to 15 miles wide, making it the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi. White cherry blossoms line the shoreline in the spring producing delicious fruit in the summer. Several state parks provide sites for boat launch, recreation and camping. Two golf courses provide a challenging game surrounded by spectacular scenery.

Eureka - The Tobacco Valley

Eureka is located in the heart of Tobacco Valley, a wide, grassy plain nestled between two mountain ranges. Flathead Valley

The Flathead Valley is a place of dramatic beauty. Winding its way through the valley -- tying the greater community together -- is the Flathead River, flowing from three main tributaries in and around Glacier National Park through the valley and into Flathead Lake, the largest fresh water lake west of the Mississippi. The Valley is dotted with several quaint villages such as Whitefish, Bigfork and Lakeside as well as world-class ski areas such as Big Mountain Resort.

Missoula Valley

Bitterroot Valley

To the southwest of Missoula lies the beautiful Bitterroot Valley, offering some of the best trout fishing in the country. The ancient peaks of the Sapphire Mountains frame the valley of the east, while to the west lie the dramatic and jagged peaks of the Bitterroot Range.
