FEATURED DESTINATION
Vail
The Vail Valley is located in the heart of the Colorado Rockies. This world-renowned mountain community is home to North America's top ski resorts, Vail and Beaver Creek. Although the Vail Valley is best known as a winter destination, in actuality the area is a dynamic year-round community. In the summer months, the mild climate, abundant sunshine and spectacular scenery creates the perfect setting.
East Vail
Possibly the most alpine and intimate of the area's communities, East Vail hugs the Gore Range at the base of Vail Pass. Strictly a residential neighborhood, it is a favorite with longtime locals and second homeowners from the Front Range. The appeal of East Vail is easy to understand. Snow covers its forest like a soft, down comforter in winter. Although winter may linger a little longer than in most of the Valley, summer blossoms with a burst of wildflowers and the rushing of streams and waterfalls. When you live in East Vail it is an easy stopping point for Front Range skiers on their way to the slopes. And the free Town of Vail bus system, which loops around East Vail, makes commuting to town a snap. Best of all, property prices are moderate compared to Vail Village, even though the village is only four miles away.
