This well-hidden, very private treasure is about 40 min. east of Merida. It has every amenity - historic Casa Principal with large terrace, eight total bedrooms with en suite baths, designed by Mexico's leading architect, Javier Sanchez. Other construction includes the old factory and chimney, very unusual in that the machinery for processing henequen fibre is still in place, as are many of the old iron De Couville rail tracks through the property. The original old private chapel of the hacienda is in relatively good condition and awaits restoration.

Services include electricity, plentiful pure water, telephone and internet. The encargado lives close to the gate and monitors entry, and as the village of Suma is close (3 km approx), staff arrive by bicycle daily. Access is by 1.5 miles of all-weather dirt road, well-maintained and easily passable for any vehicle.
