Jen was born in Wales, living and growing up in the London area.  After obtaining her degree in Sociology from the University of London, she headed out into the wide world, first settling for four years in Mexico where she traveled widely in the '60s and '70s.  San Antonio was next, and after a stint as reptile keeper for the local zoo,  Jen became a licensed Realtor in 1979. 

A main interest has always been in rescuing historic buildings and Yucatan has offered ample opportunity to work with people interested in restoring the many beautiful abandonned haciendas and old homes...Merida becomes more beautiful by the day, thanks to the many ex-pats who share her passion.
