John is a Broker Associate in the Slifer Smith & Frampton/Vail Associates Real Estate office in Bachelor Gulch Village. A resident of the Vail Valley since 1975, John has been in real estate sales in Vail for 28 years. He was the Corporate Broker for Arrowhead at Vail Properties Corporation from 1987 until 1994 when Vail Associates purchased Arrowhead, and created the exciting new Bachelor Gulch subdivision located between Arrowhead and Beaver Creek. John was chosen to be one of the two original Bachelor Gulch "lead brokers" and has been in the Bachelor Gulch sales office since December, 1994.

Real Estate Development has been another area of focus for John over the years. He was involved in developing Riverbend in East Vail, the 37 acre Eaglebend Subdivision in Avon, the North Star Condominium project in Edwards, and the Brookside Lodge and Townhome development in Avon.

John is a graduate of Highland Park High School in Dallas, Texas and holds an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Texas Tech University.

John served on the Board of Directors of The Arrowhead Metropolitan District for eight years, is a long term supporter of the arts and cultural activities in the Vail Valley and is active in fund raising efforts for The Eagle County Charter Academy, Habitat for Humanity, and the Vail Chapter of the Salvation Army.

A native of Texas, John moved to Colorado in 1970. He currently resides in Bachelor Gulch with his wife Mary and two daughters, Alden and Shannon who were both born and raised in Vail.
