Born and raised in Canada, Carol J. Elias “Cj” attributes much of her drive and focus to the example set by two very strong women in her family, her mother and grandmother. Both were ambitious, accomplished and adventurous sportswomen. In addition to nurturing Carol's love of the outdoors, both encouraged and supported her ambition to become a nurse.

Carol began as an OR nurse, but it was in her work in Critical Care & Trauma that she truly shined. "I loved that it was never boring and never routine", she says. "When you have to adapt to new circumstances on a daily basis, you learn very quickly what you need to do to take control of the situation and get the best outcome."

Carol chose to leave a major metropolitan hospital for the challenges of a rural facility located on the island of Molokai. It was a significant move motivated not just by Carol's sense of adventure, but also by her love for a wide variety of sports, including windsurfing, mountain biking and golfing.

Today, Carol volunteers her acute care skills to Hawaii's MRC (Medical Reserve Corps), ready to help in any way.

As a healthcare professional, Carol helped many people through a variety of medical challenges to successful outcomes. She has had a great impact on many lives, but she finds the highest satisfaction in channeling her energy into guiding Buyers and Sellers in their real estate transactions.
