Shane has been in the real estate business, either directly or indirectly, since 1997 when he began managing western style properties for one of the largest private landowners in the United States. Shane worked on several trade transactions between the private sector and National Forest Service/Department of Agriculture during this time.

In 2003 Shane relocated to Southwest Colorado to work exclusively on ranch/land development and sales & marketing. He cut his teeth with one of the largest wholesale ranch development and marketing firms in the area. Shane was then invited to join the boutique offices of Horizon Properties, with their then exclusive affiliation with Christie’s Great Estates, Residence International and Who’s Who. Shane has spent the last seven years focused on large ranch offerings and high-end estate properties in the Durango and surrounding markets. He has successfully closed several of the largest dollar and acreage transactions in the area during this time.

Since founding Elevation Real Estate Company in 2008, Shane has expanded his focus to include key residential areas in and around Durango, including: Edgemont Ranch & Highlands, Dalton Ranch, Shenandoah, CR 250 corridor, Two Dogs, Windom Ranch, The Ranch, Blue Sky Ranch, The Cottonwoods and Glacier Club.
