Brookline combines urban convenience with suburban living. Blessed by nature-with a setting of natural beauty and improved upon by man with handsome homes, distinct neighborhoods, business villages and much preserved land, Brookline has many desirable qualities.

Brookline is the birthplace of John F. Kennedy and the home of a myriad of cultural activities, including performing arts, a symphony orchestra, Chamber Music Society, museums, theater, fine dining, and respected libraries. The medical facilities in the Brookline-Boston area are some of the finest in the world.

Brookline's eclectic hodgepodge of tastes and styles provides a selection of living accommodations that offer much choice. There are condo conversions and apartment complexes, Victorian, English Tutor, Half-Timber, Split-Entry and Colonial single-family homes, as well as million dollar estates and mansions.

Brookline has all the advantages and conveniences of city life along with a strong community spirit and a small-town feel.

Newton. First settled in 1630, Newton was incorporated as a town in 1688 with the statement “Cambridge Village sometimes called New Cambridge…ordered that it be henceforth called Newton….”. Nearly 200 years later, in 1873 Newton was incorporated as a city. Today’s Newton, rich in history, ethnic, and cultural makeup, has a heterogeneous population blend which defines its strong character and dynamic personality.

Bordering the city of Boston at several points, Newton is one of Boston’s most highly prized suburbs. Often referred to as “The Garden City”, Newton is recognized as a leader in several fields: recreation, and community service, education, and the arts. The Charles River is great for boating, and Hammond Pond is a popular spot for enjoying the outdoors. Public transportation is easily accessible and Boston is but a short car ride away.

Newton has thirteen village each with its own unique character, culture, and style. The villages include Auburndale, Chestnut Hill, Lower Falls, Newton Center, Newton Corner, Newton Highlands, Newtonville, Nonantum, Oak Hill, Thompsonville, Upper Falls, Waban, and West Newton.

The Newton public school system is recognized nationally. Boston College is located in the Chestnut Hill section of the city and there are several highly ranked private schools as well. Newton's strong educational commitment has resulted in a very notable acceptance rate by its students at colleges and universities.
