Attractions
Pike Place Market
Pike Place Market is the oldest continually working farmer's market in the nation. This famed open-air
market offers regional fruits and vegetables, seasonal flowers, fresh seafood and local delicacies
and art, as well as breathtaking views of Elliott Bay.
Pioneer Square
Pioneer Square is Seattle's oldest neighborhood, now a historic district. Today many of the distinctive red brick buildings are home to art galleries, restaurants and small businesses. For a memorable glimpse of Old Seattle, take the Seattle Underground Tour, which takes you underneath the Pioneer Square streets.
Seattle Center
One of the nation's most vibrant gathering places, the Seattle Center is home to cultural and educational
organizations, festivals, community programs and the world-famous Space Needle.
Chinatown-International District
As one of Seattle's oldest neighborhoods, Chinatown-International District is rich with history and culture. Asian restaurants and unique specialty shops line the streets. Two don't-miss attractions are the Wing Luke Asian Museum and Uwajimaya, a huge Asian grocery store originally established in 1928.
Tillicum Village
This charming Native American village is located on nearby Blake Island (excursions depart by chartered vessel from Piers 55/56). You'll enjoy steamed clams and a traditional salmon feast, a stage show and an exploration of forested trails and beaches.

Golf and Tennis
Sahalee Country Club
Located in Sammamish, is rated one of the top 100 courses in America. The course opened in 1969 after 27 holes were carved out of tall majestic cedar and Douglas firs native to the Pacific Northwest. The club hosted the 1998 PGA Championship and the 2002 World Golf Championship-NEC Invitational.

Experience Music Project
Located in an oddly shaped building near the Space Needle, Experience Music Project is a hands-on museum where you can learn to play the guitar, jam to a crowd of screaming virtual fans, sing a tune or maybe even write one. See Jimi Hendrix's shattered guitars, Kurt Cobain's hand-written lyrics and more.
Museum of Flight
The Museum of Flight has something to offer every member of the family. Visitors experience the story of flight from the dawn of aviation to the Space Age.
Pacific Science Center
The Pacific Science Center makes science fun! Permanent exhibits include Dinosaurs: A Journey Through Time, a Tropical Butterfly House, Insect Village, a Puget Sound Model and Saltwater Tide Pool and more. view website
Wing Luke Asian Museum
The Wing Luke Asian Museum's mission is to engage the Asian Pacific American communities and the public in exploring issues related to the culture, art and history of Asian Pacific Americans. The centerpiece exhibition depicts the 200-year story of the immigration and settlement of Asians and Pacific Islanders in Washington State.

Neighborhoods
Queen Anne
At the heart of Queen Anne is a steep hill rising 456 feet above Puget Sound. Queen Anne is named for a style of architecture popular in the 1880s and is one of Seattle's most expensive neighborhoods. The views of the Space Needle, downtown, Mt. Rainier and Puget Sound are world famous.
Capitol Hill
Capitol Hill is one of Seattle's hippest neighborhoods, boasting an eclectic collection of restaurants, bars and shops. This neighborhood is also home to several colleges, including Seattle University and Cornish College of the Arts.
Fremont
Fremont, the self-proclaimed "Center of the Universe," is known for being quirky, despite a spate of new construction, including many commercial buildings and condominiums. Antique stores, art galleries, coffee houses and boutiques stand alongside unique local art, such as a statue of Vladmir Lenin, a Korean-built rocket and a troll under the state route 99 bridge.
Belltown
Arguably Seattle's trendiest neighborhood, Belltown is home to cutting-edge restaurants, night clubs and shops, as well as many brand-new luxury condominiums. It is located in the heart of downtown.

Preserves and Parks
Alki Beach Park
This popular park in West Seattle runs from Alki Point to Duwamish Head on Elliot Bay. The 2.5-mile paved trail is a popular spot for walkers, runners, in-line skaters and bikers, while the sandy shore hosts sunbathers, beachcombers and volleyball players. view website
Discovery Park
Discover Park is a 534-acre natural area park, the largest city park in Seattle. Situated on Magnolia Bluff overlooking Puget Sound, Discovery Park offers views of both the Cascade and Olympic Mountain Ranges. There are two miles of protected tidal beach.
The Washington Park Arboretum
The Washington Park Arboretum is an urban green space on the shores of Lake Washington. The park spans 230 acres and includes a spectacular Japanese garden.

University Village

Theaters
5th Avenue Theatre
Once a vaudeville and silent picture palace, the 5th Avenue Theatre features a Chinese interior inspired by the Forbidden City in Beijing. It is home to the 5th Avenue Musical Theatre Company and features Broadway shows as well as concerts, lectures and films.
Benaroya Hall
The home of the Seattle Symphony, the state-of-the-art Benaroya Hall features two auditoriums, a grand lobby and an elegant private function room. view website
Cinerama Theatre
Saved from destruction by Seattle native and billionaire Paul Allen, this downtown movie theater preserves the magic of Cinerama. Currently, there are only two places in the world still capable of showing three-panel Cinerama films: Seattle's Cinerama Theatre and a theater and museum in Bradford, England.
