Pend d’Oreille Winery
Idaho’s Winery of the Year in 2003. Offers award-winning wines, wine tasting, wine sales, tours of the winery and a gift shop. Open daily.
Silverwood Theme Park
The Northwest’s largest theme park; admission includes the new Boulder Beach Water Park, so visitors get two parks for the price of one. More than 60 rides and attractions, including three big-time roller coasters. Shows and entertainment included. Located 27 miles south of Sandpoint on Highway 95.
Festival at Sandpoint
The Festival is one of the premier summer music concert series in the Northwest, held right on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille in Sandpoint's Memorial Park. For two weeks each summer, the Festival brings to town a truly impressive array of music, from the Spokane Symphony to such popular acts as Willie Nelson, Natalie Cole, the Beach Boys, the Doobie Brothers, Nanci Griffith and many others.
Schweitzer
Winter and summer destination with spectacular views of Lake Pend Oreille. Lodging, dining and shopping, plus scenic hiking, mountain biking, paintball, disc golf and horseback riding in summer. High-speed quad chairlift rides. Ski and snowboard 2,900 acres of terrain from late November to early April. Easy 11-mile drive from downtown.

Preserves and Parks
City Beach
Located at the end of Bridge Street. Beautiful sandy beaches with lifeguards, volleyball, tennis, basketball and barbecue pits.
Sandpoint Ranger District
More than 75 trails covering more than 275 miles of developed routes through a variety of terrain from valley bottoms to alpine environments.
Farragut
A state park located four miles east of Athol. 4,000 scenic acres alongside the southern tip of Lake Pend Oreille offering camping, fishing, biking, frisbee golf, hiking and cross-country ski trails.
Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge
30 miles north of Sandpoint near Bonners Ferry. More than 2,000 acres with an abundance of wildlife including elk, deer, moose and bear, plus migrating birds in autumn. Hiking trails to waterfall and around pond, auto tour routes.
