SARATOGA, CA — Alain Pinel Realtors (APR) is partnering with Save Our Shores to create a series of clean-up events across the Bay Area this summer. In addition to sponsoring the clean-up events, 
APR will make a $10,000 donation to Save Our Shores to further support its mission.
Save Our Shores is a marine conservation 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to address a diverse set of threats to the marine environment.
Working with Save Our Shores, the brokerage is recruiting volunteers to sign up for five separate clean-up events. Volunteers will learn about the impact of waste on the environment and work to find, bag and remove trash and debris among the selected beach, park and coastal environments.
The five volunteer events include:
- Baylands Nature Preserve, Palo Alto Saturday, June 23 from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
- Ocean Beach, San Francisco – Beach Clean-up Saturday, July 7 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Hellyer Park, San Jose – Park Clean-up Saturday, July 28 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Kirby Cove, Marin – Beach Clean-up Saturday, Aug. 11 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Oakland Estuary, Oakland – Kayak Clean-up Saturday, Aug. 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

In addition to its donation and volunteer recruitment efforts for the five area clean-up events, APR will be providing lunch and commemorative t-shirts for all registered volunteers.
