Brown Harris Stevens Miami MIAMI, FL - A contemporary waterfront mansion on the Venetian Islands in Miami Beach has just sold for $17 Million. The 7,100-square foot home closed for about $2,394 per square foot, making it the most expensive home per square foot in the history of the Venetian Islands. It is also the second most expensive sale in the history of the Venetian Islands and the second highest price per square foot for a single-family home in all of Miami Beach.

Located at 8 West Rivo Alto Drive, the home was listed by Brown Harris Stevens Miami’s Jeff Miller. The home was sold within six months.

Miller also represented the sellers, Ken and Lisa Rosen, in 2014 when they purchased the land where they built the home. After three years of designing and constructing the home with meticulous personal attention to detail, the sellers listed the property as new without moving in, opting to stay in another home to be near family. The result was a custom-designed trophy property in one of Miami Beach’s most desirable locations with numerous, unmatched elements including 100 feet of waterfront, custom furnishings and contemporary artwork.

“This home is unlike anything else on the market. Its location, views and design made it a rare opportunity. It is a trophy, must-have home so we knew from day one we just had to find the right buyer,” says Miller. “My team and I looked at our network and did a few strategic showings. Within a few days we’d started a phenomenal word of mouth campaign throughout local and international circles. The interest that led to this sale originated within the first week of the home being listed allowing us to quickly find the perfect buyer and exceed the expectations of the sellers.”

Miller is also known for achieving the record for the highest price ever paid for a condo in Miami Beach. He represented the buyer of a $60 Million penthouse at Faena in 2015.
