DENVER, CO - Prominent luxury real estate leaders from around the world convened in Maui, Hawaii May 2-5, 2017 for the 15th Annual Luxury Real Estate Spring Retreat. Members of the Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate network gathered to gain knowledge, connect with peers, and celebrate recent industry accomplishments.
The event began with exclusive Board of Regents programming, including a reception hosted by Wailea Realty a Boutique of Windermere Real Estate, a speech by John Morgan, President and CEO of Kualoa Ranch, and panels of experts.
Formal programming began Thursday morning, with a variety of panels, speakers, and presentations. LIV Sotheby’s International Realty Breckenridge managing broker, Melanie Frank, moderated the panel, ‘How to Connect with an Audience Outside of Your Local Market, sharing industry experience in how to connect outside buyers to resort-area markets.

Featured Speaker Robert Spector explored “The Nordstrom Way,” his values-driven code for superior customer service culture, while Christopher A. McNally discussed the rise of Sino-Capitalism and its implications for the international real estate industry. Other panels and topics included social media secrets and hacks, layering brands and global affiliations, leveraging client data, connecting with clients outside the local market, and more.
On Friday, attendees got a slice of the Maui luxury real estate market with a guided property tour of three homes, listed at $8.2 million, $13.975 million, and $30 million. Meghan Barry, President of Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate, presented Rob Kildow, Director of Residential Sales at Hualalai Resort on the Kona coast, with a Lifetime Achievement Award. This award is a prestigious honor for a longstanding member of the global luxury real estate community who has continually contributed to the success of the industry. The conference concluded with a rousing Luau hosted by Boston Logic, celebrating Rob Kildow and the entire Who’s Who network.
