DENVER, CO - 64 real estate professionals from LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, have been named recipients of 5280 magazine’s ‘2016 Five Star Professional award.’ The award determines the Denver area’s top real estate professionals and ranks them based on their ability to provide superior service quality to clients, while demonstrating a high level of civic involvement in the community.

Award candidates are identified by nominations received by consumers. Survey participants provide the name of the real estate agent and rate that individual according to key criteria such as integrity, negotiation, and closing preparation.
The award process is conducted annually in the Denver market, and will appear in the September issue of 5280 magazine, which focuses on Denver lifestyle topics including art, dining, fashion, shopping, business, real estate, travel, and more.
Surveys were sent to Denver area residents who recently purchased a home. Home buyers were then asked to evaluate real estate agents with whom they have worked based upon nine criteria. Recent homebuyers may evaluate up to two real estate agents in order to measure the experience associated with the purchase and sale side of a move, and self-nominations are not accepted, making it a special designation to be nominated.
In order to be named a Five Star Real Estate Agent, an individual must hold a current real estate license and be in good standing. The final list of Five Star Real Estate Agents includes less than 7% of the real estate agents in a market.
