Tell us a bit about how and why you joined Fortune
Miami was not on our horizon until a chance visit about 3 years ago. Instinctively, it felt unique and right for us. We were introduced to Fortune by a relative and, after a few conversations with Edgardo, Ruth and Andres, felt that joining Fortune would be like joining a family. We like the fact that Fortune is so dynamic but is not a huge soulless corporate entity and that there is room for creativity and new ideas. We were waiting for the right opportunity to join and our introducing Fortune to Savills provided it.
As ambassadors to our international affiliate Savills, what do you feel is the most powerful benefit of the alliance?
We had firsthand experience working with the Savills Global Network when we lived and worked in South Africa. The biggest benefit of the alliance is access to new markets in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. The Savills brand is very well known and synonymous with excellence in these markets.
What do you love about Miami and what is your real estate specialty?
The energy and sense of opportunity. We love the metamorphosis of Miami over the last several years from Cinderella to an upcoming world class city. There is nothing that we love more than to introduce our buyers/investors to the "new" Miami. It is so rewarding to us when our passion and enthusiasm is felt by the people that we work with and they also fall in love with Miami. We introduce people not just to a property but rather a way of life and have built lasting friendships with many of our clients. As the purveyors of dreams, we have been successfully practicing the art of matching buyers to property for over 20 years.
