NAPLES, FL – Gulf Coast International Properties, in its continuing effort to support the community we live in, was one of the sponsors of the Lucas Cup Pro-Am. Mark and Lisa Lye in association with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) organized the Second Annual Lucas Cup Pro-Am.
The event, named after Mark's son Lucas, benefits JDRF. Lucas was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) at the age of four. As he approaches his ninth birthday, they are moving forward in their search for a cure. Mark, PGA TOUR veteran and former Golf Channel analyst, also has T1D and wants to see his son, himself and the millions around the world live a life free of this disease. Over $400,000 was raised at this event.
