On the morning of December 6, 2013, Gary Boisen was awarded the 2013 Realtor® of the Year for Laguna Beach during the annual Installation and Holiday Breakfast, hosted by the Laguna Board of REALTORS® and Affiliates.
Being one of two real estate agents presented with this award, Gary was chosen out of approximately 630 other members of the Laguna Board of Realtors. The Realtor of the Year is voted upon by peers, and is exemplified by upholding the highest ethical and professional standard within the real estate business, as well as within the community at large.
Gary has not only made a significant impact on the real estate community and his peers, but has also contributed widely to the community of Laguna Beach.
“Gary is a go-to person, he always makes himself available to help,” states Cheri Romig, the co-recipient of this year’s Realtor of the Year award. “He is a wonderful example of what a realtor should be, not only ethically and professionally, but also by giving back the community.”
Gary’s dedication to his career reaches beyond the borders of his profession and his commitment to clients. Currently a Director on the Laguna Board of Realtors, Gary served as President of the Board in 2012. He has led many committees including Long Range Strategic Planning, Technology, Taste for Charity, and the Chili Cook-off/Pet Parade, to name a few. He is also “Ecobroker” certified and serves on Surterre’s Green Team and Best Buys committee, and volunteers at the company eWaste events.
Real estate has been Gary’s expertise for over two decades. After receiving a degree in Business and Marketing from Winona State University, Gary moved to Southern California and has called the California Coast his home for 27 years. Today, he is not only one of Surterre’s most experienced and accomplished agents, but he is also setting a new standard among real estate professionals as Laguna Beach’s Realtor of the Year.
