Kentwood Real EstateDENVER, CO – Gretchen Rosenberg, President and CEO of Kentwood Real Estate, was named a finalist in the Denver Business Journal’s 2020 Outstanding in Women in Business Award. The prestigious award recognizes and celebrates women making a significant and positive impact in the Mile High City's business community.

Gretchen Rosenberg, President & CEO of Kentwood Real Estate“It is an honor and humbling to be recognized as an outstanding woman in Denver’s business community,” says Rosenberg. “Kentwood’s roots run deep in the community and it has always been my passion to support members of our business community and fellow neighbors through work and personal endeavors. There has been a lot of fear and uncertainty over the past months, so I always aim to harness that type of energy into positive momentum to support our neighbors and my team of brokers.”

Kentwood’s brokers are comprised over 240 of highly experienced brokers who break production records every year, winning prestigious awards from local REALTOR® associations. Kentwood produces more volume per agent than 99 percent of all real estate companies in the U.S., which Rosenberg credits to Kentwood brokers’ deep commitment to professionalism, local knowledge, expertise and customer experience.

Under Rosenberg’s leadership, Kentwood Real Estate agents closed $2.079 billion in total sales volume and closed over 3,000 transactions in 2019. The overall average sales price notably rose year over year to $767,556 with four of the top 10 highest-priced home sales in metro Denver, more than any other brokerage in the top 10, and included the top home sale ever on record in Denver at $11,625,000 as well as the highest-priced condominium which sold at $5,359,975, according to REColorado data

Over the years Rosenberg has been a board member and very involved with HomeAid Colorado, which contributes to Denver’s communities by providing housing and supplies for the situationally homeless; in the past few months, she has been more involved than ever before with the organization given the need to support individuals and families facing hardships today.

Rosenberg approaches leadership from her mother’s sage advice, who discouraged her from being a cheerleader in high school by saying, “Girls don’t stand on the sidelines cheering for boys. They go in and play the game, too.”
