The Consumers’ Choice Award is considered to be the standard for consumer trust and business quality. The methodology used to identify winning companies has evolved over the years. Currently, the CCA employs third party polling companies as well as a public platform where consumers are invited to cast their votes at VoteAtlanta.biz. Consumers, 18 years of age or older, are eligible to vote. After a six-week voting period, the votes from all sources are combined. Online voting is promoted through social media channels. Consumers are encouraged to vote for their favorite companies and are asked to consider criteria such as Customer Service, Value and Professionalism. The industry sectors include; Automotive, Home Services, Home Improvement, Specialty Services, Retail and Business to Business Services.
